“Shea is the CREAM OF THE CROP!!!
I have been to numerous talk therapists in the past-but none of them could even come CLOSE to how wonderful she is!!! I hit the jackpot when she took me on as a new patient! She has made me a better person, happier and calmer than I have ever been. Helping me learn how to control my thoughts and actions. Top of the line therapist and person.”

“Therapy is the art of alleviating personal difficulties through the agency of words.”
The Art of Psychotherapy, 1971
I Love Therapy because...
I believe it is the perfect problem-solving option for people searching for a confidential and effective support system outside of family and friends. My approach to therapy is highly structured, evidence-based, and solution-oriented. Since opening my private practice in November 2018, I’ve been honored to serve hundreds of individuals and families in and around Charlottesville, VA. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual issues, and grief.
